Seconds ago Avery ran into the kitchen, tears on cheeks, upset because, “Alley stole my book.”
Alley as in Alley Cat.
I followed the clues to the suspect and this is what I found:
The cat had actually taken the book from her.
And really didn’t want to give it back.
We had to trade the Maisie book for a Sandra [...]

Friends, I had such a lovely morning. I traveled to a distant land known as Fresno with two other actual grown up ladies and we visited a magical floral supply place chock full of flower stems and topiaries and over-the-top Christmas trees.
Our local charity Christmas tree auction is in November and I am the designated [...]

The lovely and talented Jen over at Steenky Bee has very graciously presented me with an award. I know, I don’t understand it either. She seems to have a soft spot for my kind of crazy. And I heart her more than words can say. So I’m incredibly appreciative of this lovely pink award, especially [...]

Tina Fey is so good it’s freaky. I also like Amy Poehler’s lipstick and blinky Katie Couric eyes.

…about Grey’s Anatomy for a second? I’ve been waiting all summer long to find out what happened after all those candles blew out at the end of last season (which would have taken all day to assemble, place and light in real life but was accomplished by Meredith in 30 minutes). And after watching last [...]

I just noticed something odd about the Annie’s Organic Bunny Pasta with Yummy Cheese that I occasionally feed my chicks for dinner. The place where you insert your thumb to pull back the top of the package has a little picture of a bunny’s hindquarter’s (fluffy tail and all) and the instruction to “Push Tail [...]

Today’s my birthday. I tried to write a funny little post about the super lame celebrities I share this day with (Audra Lindley, Jim Henson, Linda McCartney, Ross the Intern), but I couldn’t make anything out of it. So instead I’m just gonna throw a bunch of stuff out there, and see what sticks.
A baby [...]
