This is why I love Kirtsy. They find blogs and interesting things for me to read that I would never come across on my own. Today I clicked on a blog post via Kirtsy and on that blog post another interesting blog was referenced and that’s how I ended up at Zakka Life. The gal behind Zakka life is a serious crafter in a way that I can never be. I dabble in crafts, I love rhinestones and Stitch Witchery, but have no stamina for long term crafting, and I’m not that creative. I just copy what other people do. Like Zakka Life.
She so very generously posted directions on her blog for making that thin, curly, corkscrew ribbon that people (or giant corporations) like Gymboree use to make kids hairclips. I love those little “corkers” or “curlies” and usually buy them at Gymboree to coordinate with any outfits I’ve purchased. Thanks to ZL, I am no longer held hostage by the Gymboree curly loop conspiracy.
